Does GiftNest edit my Contacts?

No. Contacts import is read-only. GiftNest can read names, birthdays, thumbnail contact photos, and local contact IDs if you approve access, but it never writes to or edits Contacts.

Can I use GiftNest without importing Contacts?

Yes. You can add people manually.

Where is my data stored?

GiftNest stores your app data locally on your device. The current app build does not use a GiftNest account or GiftNest cloud server.

Why do some gift links mention affiliate links?

GiftNest cleans saved gift links by removing common tracking and outside affiliate parameters. When you open a link for a supported store, GiftNest may use a GiftNest affiliate link. This may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

How do I delete my data?

You can delete people and gift ideas inside the app. You can also delete the app from your device to remove locally stored app data, subject to your Apple device backup settings.
